A GREAT flurry of excitement ran through the little village of Silvermines nestled at the foot of Keeper Hill last Thursday week as RTE vehicles appeared on the main street with a crew of camera men, sound engineers and an excitable looking Director asking for directions to the parochial house. Local lady Sheelagh Chadwick accompanied the crew and showed off our local tourism areas and GAA heritage and was compere extraordinaire for the day as she narrated to the camera the wonders of our little piece of paradise here in North Tipperary.
